Students may apply to undertake either an optional year abroad, an optional year in Computer Science or an optional Year in Civic Leadership between level I and level H. The Year Abroad will not contribute towards the final degree classification (it will be marked as Pass/Fail) The Year in Computer Science will not contribute towards the final degree classification The Year in Civic Leadership will not contribute towards the final degree classification. Student transcripts will display the marks achieved for the year, but the year itself will be assessed on a Pass/Fail basis. Students will need to achieve 100 credits in order to pass.
